The subtitle of Perpendicular Women is "Adventures in the Multiverse." Back in 2010 when I wrote the story that would become PW, most people had never heard of the multiverse. Those who had, often said, a fun thought, but really?
But back then, I stumbled upon the idea through a then-obscure book. The concept proved to be not only a dazzling literary device but also a metaphor for possibilities in our own lives.
Since that time, the theory's popularity has waxed and waned in scientific communities, but now, it's hot again. Really hot. Check out the first post in this blog to see why.
This blog also covers an unrelated topic: eating. If you've read Perpendicular Women, you know that Kara, one of the characters, cooks. Well! Readers have asked about the dishes she prepares. You ask. I deliver.
Enjoy the recipes that will appear periodically on this blog. You're also invited to sign up for more of "Kara's" recipes in my free monthly newsletter. Use the Contact tab on this site and be sure to say, sign me up. (I do not share my contact list.)
With that, I wish you happy reading. And may your universe treat you kindly.
